< Yukbuchon Yukgaejang and Gondalbi Bibimbap attract the taste buds of tourists. > The City of Gyeongju has developed "Byulchaeban" to provide the tourists with the opportunities to taste the native food of Gyeongju and to introduce the locally grown food ingredients.

“Byulchaeban” is the combination of “Byul” and “Chaeban”. Byul implies the Korean food as beautiful as the star symbolized by 'Cheomseongdae', Asia's oldest astronomical observatory in Gyeongju, and the best the present and the future. “Chaeban” is the native Korean word for table. The City of Gyeongju has created this combined word and registered the trademark of “Byulchaeban”.

“Byulchaeban” is the signature traditional dish of Gyeongju and the original brand to present to the tourists the taste of Gyeongju.

“Byeolchaeban” currently has the main dishes, “Yukbuchon Yukgaejang” and “Gondalbi Bibimbap”, and two sub-menus, “Flat Fish Fruit Sauce Pumpkin” and “Sliced Abalone in Soy Sauce”. There currently are five Byulchaeban restaurants, Byulchaeban Gyodong Ssambap ad Jangwon Sutbul Garden Location, Bulguk Location, Bomun Location, and Singyeongju Station Location.

Byulchaeban's menus are served on single trays that are clean and sanitary for the satisfaction of foreign customers.

Byulchaeban proudly uses Cheonnyeon Hanu, which has received the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) Certificate for the first time in Korea, and Gyeongju's special Gondalbi cultivated using eco-friendly methods to capture the taste and flavors. Goldalbi naturally grows on 1,013m above sea level in Sannae-myeon, Gyeongju.

It also uses as its main ingredients the flat fish caught in the clean seas of Gampo that is low in fat for a great taste and the abalone that is farmed using eco-friendly methods.
