< Visitation to Eco-Water Center and site in Bukcheon during invitation training for Korea-China joint workshop > Korea-China joint workshop is being held in Anyang, Daejeon, Gyeongju, Seoul area in the order listed from December 9, 2013 for 5 days as a part of watershed management business for the prevention of Chinese Yellow Sea pollution which is a Korea-China cooperation project.

This invitation training was hosted by Korea Water Resources Corporation and officials from Beijing Municipal Research Institute of Environmental Protection, and officials related with water management in Qingdao and Yantai have participated.

As part of the schedule for Korea-China joint workshop schedule, they came to Gyeongju-si on December 11 and visited sewage treatment technology and sewage reuse facility of Eco-Water Center for the field trip to exemplary site related with research business and the sharing of performance of research business. Also, a trial performance of research and development equipment for new environmental technology, from the water quality laboratory and site field trip for river maintenance business in Bukcheon were conducted at the same time.

Meanwhile, officials from Japanese water forum visited historical culture of Gyeongju and sewage reuse facility for the preparation for successful completion of the 7th World Water Forum on December 7.

Through the Korea-Japan cooperation workshop and Korea-China joint workshop, excellent water management technology of Gyeongju-si can be introduced to the world and it will be the opportunity for environmental new technology under self-development to advance to the international market.
